Perfumes For a Buck is NOT a SCAM

as a member of Perfumes For A Buck i have learned through experience that it is a legitimate business. i joined last month and received my first 5 authentic samples, PLUS an added 5 complimentary samples because I FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS in the disclosure and FAQ's page.
ADVICE before joining:
1) read the disclosure people! i have read reviews of people getting upset about "bad service" because they didn't read the details to this FAIR deal.
2)the disclosure states "JOIN NOW and get 5 samples for $1, which means:
*join now/become a member for $12.99. your card will be charged immediately for that.
*and receive your first 5 samples for $1. you will only be charged that $1 when you initially join. the following month's 5 samples cost $12.99
*initial total charge for this deal is $13.99 (that is how much your card will be charged when you join INITIALLY)
NOW...they have been clever with their wording to get people to join and the "5 samples for $1" is not actually a deal, unless you follow #3 below. (See Perfume For A Buck's FAQ page)
Ok...the reason that i payed the initial $13.99 to be a member of P4AB is because I order a lot of samples, mostly on ebay, and I think this is a fair/good deal.
as a member of P4AB, $12.99 per month divided by 5 = $2.60 per sample. i buy a lot of samples on ebay, so P4AB's monthly membership fee is a fair price considering the average cost per sample of name brand perfumes can range from $3-$6 on other sites such as ebay. shipping from Perfumes For A Buck is FREE in the U.S.
3) when i joined, i also received a one-time-only additional 5 samples because i refrained from submitting an order for 72 hours! this is the statement you can find in Perfume For a Buck's FAQ's page:
"With a wide range of fragrances available in the market, it becomes really tough to choose the right ones. For your convenience, if you would like for us to ship you 5 of our favorite selections, simply refrain from submitting an order after completing your registration. After 72 hours we will automatically send your first samples based on the style you chose during registration. You will still have 5 credits remaining with your paid membership to submit an additional order."
SO....refrain from putting in an order for 72 hours/3 days, when you initially join, and you will receive an added 5 samples of their choosing. OR if you go onto your account after the 72 hours are up and you see that they havent shipped out their complimentary, chosen 5 samples, email them and they will let you choose your own. AND you will still have 5 more samples to choose that same month. that's what happened to me.
so for the initial fee of $12.99 + $1.00 = $13.99 divided by 10 = $1.40 per sample!!! THAT'S ONLY IF YOU FOLLOW STEP #3 ABOVE i.e. THE DIRECTIONS ON THE FAQ'S PAGE!!!! and YOU CAN ONLY GET THIS DEAL 1 TIME when you initially join!
i love my samples. i haven't had a problem, so far. and like i said above, although the wording is clever to get people to initially join, i STILL THINK it's a good deal when i do the math.
