My last email to Inflection: "Your comment "If we didn't charge for the searches and reports that have an additional cost associated with them the membership fees would be outrageous" is irrelevant as no where in the terms & conditions does it indicate that a person will be charged additional fees. My credit card information was provided to People Search Pro only as required to activate the free trial period. To charge my credit card with no indication whatsoever & to not get my prior authorization is not only deceiving, it is illegal. "Our Products are backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee." I was not 100% satisfied with People Search Pro products. If I don't hear back from you by Wednesday July 7th and receive a full refund of my money as requested, I will file a dispute with my credit card company & file a complaint with the Omaha Better Business Bureau against People Search Pro aka Inflection."
This is their response: "For you to accuse us of charging you anything without explicit permission from you is ridiculous. I have personally used the website many times and know exactly what every single screen looks like when you are going through the checkout process. Before we can charge you anything you must put a check in the little box stating that you agree to the terms of the sale and then click on the "buy" button. We WOULD NEVER CHARGE YOU WITHOUT YOU BEING COMPLETELY AWARE OF WHAT
YOU WERE PURCHASING AND HOW MUCH YOU WOULD BE CHARGED.
Never the less, due to your threat and because you are upset with yourself for not paying attention to what it was you were purchasing on our website, I am going to refund these funds to your account. Honestly I would prefer that you had just said something like "Look, I made a mistake, can you please help me out and refund this money for me?" You would already have your money.
